What is HD lace?

HD lace is a new lace material that is more light, soft and delicate and looks more transparent than normal lace, which can melt into our skin more perfectly, which makes the hairline more invisible. HD lace is the thinnest in quality. It is also the most delicate base accessible. Perfect for use within the front, since it is invisible and doesn't show. It is durable, natural, and comparatively soft.

What is a lace frontal wig?

In the world of wigs, “lace” refers to a fine, sheer mesh that hairs are individually tied to. A wig labeled as “lace front” means that a piece of sheer lace mesh is located at the front of the wig cap. This type of wig has a section of lace (or mesh material) attached to the inside of the cap. It has a small handwoven section along the hairline and a more generous bit at the front of the head. This section helps make the wig look natural and also means that you can part the hair to create different looks. We have many different hair textures of 13x4 lace frontal wigs and 13x6 lace frontal wigs in our store. We also have brown lace, transparent lace, and HD lace, they can meet the needs of customers with different skin tones.
Lace front wigs will give you such a natural-looking hairline, many wig wearers desire a cap that combines a lace front with a monofilament or hand-tied cap to get the most realistic look with the most versatility, as these types of caps also allow for the hair to be parted in multiple directions. You carefully trim off the lace close to where the hair starts and when worn, it gives the illusion of hair growing from your head.

How to wear a lace front wig?

  1. Braid your hair into cornrows, then secure and flatten all your hair into the wig cap to prevent damage to your edges when the glue is applied.
  2. Put on a net cap. Then put on the wig to check if it fits properly and aligns with your natural hairline.
  3. Take off the wig and apply the first layer of glue in bits with a brush, spread it evenly around along the hairline, and blow-dry it. Apply the second layer of glue and blow-dry it until it's tacky and has a clear color. Never install your wig when the glue is still white.
  4. Then apply a freeze spray to help your wig stay in place.
  5. Once it's dry, gently pull the wig back on. Adjust the edge of the wig so that the hairlines match. Also, adjust the back of the wig so that it hangs naturally over your hair.
  6. When you press the lace into the glue it becomes pretty difficult to remove, so you have to ensure that the wig is perfectly aligned with your hairline, also check both ears for alignment.
  7. Then trim out the lace with a pair of scissors.
  8. With your foundation brush apply some concealer and use it to blend the knots with your skin tone to achieve a more natural look.
  9. Pull out some strands of hair, and cut with a razor into little bits to create the baby hairs. Use the hair mousse to lay your baby hairs in place. Then tie a scarf over the edges and let it sit for a few minutes. Comb and style however you want.
  10. When you are removing your lace front wig, use an adhesive remover to soften the glue before taking off the wig from your scalp.

How to care for lace front wigs?

The lace front area of a wig cap is very delicate. It is important not to hold the wig by the lace. Pulling or tugging on the lace can cause it to rip, so use caution when adjusting your wig and always use the ear tabs or side areas of the cap to grip the wig when putting it on.
Lace front wigs can be washed with wig shampoo just like any other wig. You just want to make sure not to grab the wig by the lace or scrub the lace harshly when washing. Do not put conditioner on the lace front, as this can make the hairs come loose.
Wig styling products can be used, but when combing a lace front wig, we highly recommend using a wide tooth wig comb. This type of comb will be the most gentle on the hairs and the least likely to pull the individual hairs out of the lace front or damage the lace.

What is a Pre Plucked hairline?

A pre-plucked hairline is a natural hairline with the right amount of hair along the hairline area which looks like the human hair wig is growing from the scalp. Usually, a human hair wig without a plucked hairline is always dense and thick in the hairline area. There is a lot of work to be done if you want to get a more natural look after you receive the human hair wig. But with the pre-plucked hairline. The hair along the hairline area is already plucked before shipping which gives it a more natural look.

What hairstyles you can do on lace frontal wigs?

How to maintain curly hair curls?

It's better to take off the wig when you sleep, especially for a curly wig. When the hair gets dry and poofy, you can use mousse or leave-in conditioner.

  1. Wet the hair with water first, spraying the hair from the root to the ends. Detangle the hair with your hands first, then the combs. If there are tangled knots, don't worry, be gentle, you can leave it with conditioners, brush it too hard will cause shedding, we don't want that.
  2. Smoothing your favorite product throughout the hair and continue to detangle it, you may like the Shea Moisture leave-in conditioner. Spray all over the section, and maybe add more on the ends, because the ends are usually drier quicker.
  3. Mousse can help to keep the curls popping and keep it from freezing all day! Use it with a leave-in conditioner will be better! Also if you like a wet look, Mousse

How to detangle curly hair?

Please don't use the brush to brush hard on the wig, because it will make the curls get loose and make the hair get more frizzy.
When the hair is tangled, please also don't use the wide-tooth comb to comb the hair when dealing with the matters and tangles on your curly wig.
It's not user-friendly for frizzy curly units and too much pressure would lead to extra shedding. The right way to detangle:

  1. please use your fingers to separate your hair into sections, what you will need is a pointed tail comb to detangle the wig.
  2. Grab each section in the middle and you want to smooth the bottom hair first by using the pointed tail comb. Smoothing your Gorgeous curly wig.
  3. After the smooth job is done, don't forget to fix it and spray your hair with the conditioner mist. Then there you have a beautiful puffy curly wig.

How to comb curly hair?

  1. Use a comb. Be sure to only use a comb on curly or natural hair. A brush can damage the hair cuticle and will make curls frizzier and less defined. The best tool to use for curly hair is a wide-toothed comb.
  2. Don’t comb dry hair. Never comb curly hair when it's dry. You may have noticed that curly hair becomes frizzy when it's brushed or combed when dry. Make sure to only comb curly hair after showering.
  3. Apply a deep conditioner or mousse meant for curly hair. Curly hair is drier than straight hair, so it needs all the moisture it can get. Products meant specifically for curly hair deliver this moisture to curly hair for more defined curls. You also may try applying argan oil or another kind of oil at the tips of curly hair. The tips of your hair are the driest part of your hair and need special attention.
  4. Comb from the ends and work your way up. Just like with straight hair, you want to start brushing near the tips of the hair and work your way up. Curly hair is especially prone to tangling, so it’s important to not start from the roots. If you encounter tangles, do not yank the comb through them. Even if it untangles the knot, using too much force can mess up the pattern of the curl and make curly hair look frizzier.
  5. Brush from the roots to the bottom. Once you have worked your way up to the roots, brush a couple of strokes down from the roots to the tips of the hair shaft. Because the hair is wet, you won’t distribute as much healthy oil from the scalp as you would if it were dry, but it is still an important step in making curly hair healthy.

Are your wigs 100% human hair?

The answer is Yes. We have sold hair for years, we only sell 100% human hair. Here are two methods to test if your hair extensions are human hair:

  1. Test it by burning: The synthetic or fiber hair will be melted with the black smoke as soon as you burn it. But the 100% Remy human hair will immediately catch fire, burn nearly instantly curling into a little ball, and smell like burning hair.
  2. Use your fingers to feel: There is a layer of hair scales on the surface of the hair, it is a bit like a fish scale. When it is touched, it feels very smooth, but when you touch it in reverse, it feels not very smooth. This is also a very professional way to distinguish true human hair.

Can the hair be bleached/permed/dyed?

The answer is YES. Our hair extensions are made with 100% human hair. They can be permed, dyed, bleached anyway. But be remember that all of the electric treatments with hair will cause varying degrees of damage. so if you are not good at it, pls let the professional hairdresser do it to make sure there is no damage to human hair.

Is it ok to sleep with your wig on?

Sleeping in your wig is not generally recommended by wig experts. If you have to sleep with your wig, please follow these tips to protect your wig during sleep.

  1. Wrap your head. Your wig will be damaged by too much friction. Friction can deteriorate the fibers and cause a loss of hair over time. It also leads to tangles, frizz, and dryness, all of which are a pain. To protect your wig from friction, lay the hair flat against your head and pin or tie it into place. Then, wrap your head in a silk or satin scarf. This will keep your unit in place while also protecting it from friction.
  2. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase. In this way, your wig will be protected from friction and frizz to the greatest extent. But beware that you may end up with more tangles if you tend to move around in your sleep.
  3. Brush Your Wig Thoroughly in the morning. Carefully brush or comb your wig to remove any tangles that may have formed overnight. This will prevent the hair from matting or frizzing over the course of the rest of the day. If your hair looks flat in some areas, use a little water, leave-in conditioner, or wig spray and gently fluff it.

Try not to sleep in your wig often. Over time, all that friction will lead to split ends, tangles, matting, and other issues. In short, it'll shorten the lifespan of your wig. It's not worth it!

How to wash the human hair wigs?

Wig washing is absolutely essential if you want it to last you a long time. Let's learn together how to wash a human hair wig step-by-step:

  1. Begin by gently detangling the hair using a soft paddle brush.
  2. Mix the shampoo in a basin of cold water, turn the wig inside out, and immerse it in the water. Gently swirl without rubbing the hair together, and let the wig soak for 5 minutes.
  3. Rinse the wig gently in cold water.
  4. Apply deep conditioner on the hair directly, leave it in for 30 mins to 1 hour and rinse the wig out completely.
  5. After rinsing the wig, scrunch the curls back into place by squeezing the hair gently from the bottom up.
  6. Apply a small amount of natural oil while the hair is still damp. And lay the wig flat on a clean dry towel to air dry completely.

How long does the hair last?

All our hair is 100% human virgin hair, just like our own hair. Generally speaking, the hair can last more than 9-12 months with proper good care. So the better care they have, the longer they can last.

How to choose hair care products?

We suggest the buyer use the deeply nourish and repair shampoo products. Such as the Pantene and Dove repair hair shampoo and treatment. If the buyer can make the Hair steamer once a week, the hair will be softer and have more luster.

How to avoid much shedding?

A small amount of hair loss during wearing is normal, it is not a quality problem. The hair is like our own hair, shedding is inevitable, especially for first using and washing, as long as you take good care of it, it will last longer.
Some reasons in detail, just like, combing the wig in a rude way after cleaning it. Or, you just forget to dry the wig before combing it. Sometimes, customers are not willing to spend an extra on special care for their wigs, however, they need to know applying extremely oily or greasy hair care products to the hair and washing the wig with not appropriate hot water will cause wig shedding. Your behaviors may bring wig shedding to yourself.
When you wash it please use some conditioner, and please be gentle when you comb it, that will be better. When the hair is tangled in your using process, please detangle firstly. Actually, you need to wash it and do the silicon mix treatment on it. Then it won't shed anymore.

When should I use the hair care oil?

The hair care oil is used to keep the hair more softly and add luster. Most of the customer uses it, but get more matt and tangle. So when we use the oil, we need to give the hair good care, such as after we wash the hair, after conditioner and spray the nutrient water, when the hair is almost air dry, we can use one or two drops of hair care oil on the hair surface especially the ends. If much, it will cause the big matt, the oil we suggest the L'Oreal hair care oils.

Can we apply heat to the human hair wigs?

Yes! Our lace wigs are made of 100% virgin human hair, so they can be styled exactly like your own hair. Blow dry it, iron it, curl it. Whenever using any heated styling tool on hair extensions, always use a heat protection spray, oil, or hair serum. To avoid scorching your hair, you have to know the temperature limitations that you must not cross for each of your heated styling tools.

  1. Blow dryers: Hair Dryers typically heat to between 80 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Stylists usually suggest keeping the setting on a moderate-high setting. It will dry your hair faster without any prominent damage. We usually suggest wig should be air dry after washing, but if you really need it to be dry in a short time, please strictly control the temperature.
  2. Curling irons: The temperature selection depends on the type of hair you have. A standard iron has a range of 200 degrees to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. For thick textured hair, you can go for a high temperature between 200 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. While with thin textured hair, it is best not to go above 200 degrees because of their sensitivity.
  3. Flat irons: Straightening your hair requires more heat than curling. So, flat irons work on higher heat levels in comparison to curling irons. Straighteners often work between the range of 250 to 400 Fahrenheit. For thicker hair, the range of 300 to 340 is safe. While for thinner hair, remaining below 290 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal.

Your heating tool may get hotter than It is supposed to. In addition to controlling the temperature, you must also control the time, and do not heat a location for too long. Otherwise, you may burn your hair.
